As we go up,we go down

Hello again,well today is my birthday.I am currently enjoying a glass of wine.Listening to primal Scream.Today was OK as birthdays go.I have lost over 30 pounds since my last birthday so that is progress.I saw X men :first class on the weekend.Very awesome.Amazingly disappointing summer in Vancouver.Went to a family reunion a couple of weeks ago.Good to see family.Hope it keeps up.

Wake and be fine

Hello Summer.I have been to see Okkervil River and Titus Andronicus(Monday).Awesome show.At the Vogue.Okkervil River are returning in August with The Decemberists.Would love to go but we'll shall see.Saw Tree of Life.Very dreamlike film.Not for everyone but I liked it.

Pardon my freedom

I used the same title twice.I am currently reading Game of Thrones and Outliers.Going to Okkervil River and Rush in June.Not together ,of course.Titus Andronicus is opeing for Okkervil River.And I will be on vacation.Plus, I have lost twenty pounds in the last two months.

Just finished watching game one between Vancouver and San Jose in the western conference final.This has been a fairly bland weekend .Got some new jeans.Some work boots.Some new music:Sloan,Cut Copy,Explosions in the sky,Peter,Bjorn and John.Definitely some new stuff to check out.Getting reading to watch Game of Thrones.

Well,a long time since last post.Since then I have been to see Interpol,Destroyer,Cold War Kids,Wavves,Ween.It has been a fun few months.I also went to see Vancouver vs. Philadelphia at the end of December.Great game.I saw most of the Oscar nominees.Incendes was probably the best film I saw and it was nominated for best foreign film and somehow lost.Should've been best picture.It was better than The Kings Speech.I am going to Sharon Van Etten on Tuesday and that should be great .

Wasted Daylight

Well,well,well,
I was at a sports bar tonight to watch Canucks/Oilers.After the second period I had an attractive short haired blonde come up to me and wish me merry christmas and Happy new year.She then told me she was a recovering alcoholic and was testing her resolve tonight.Then she said this would probably be in a paper tomorrow because I looked like a reporter/intelligent man who likely worked in journalism(I think she may be a local celebrity but I didn't recognize her).I assured I did not.At some point she gave me a hug and told me to join her at her table if I was alone since the two men at her table her and her friend had only met a few minutes ago.Throughout the night I noticed her befriend every man in the bar and kiss the guys sitting beside me.This is the main reason I did not join her at her table.Whoever is left at the end of the night I am sure she will sleep with.I think her sobriety will take a beating tonight.I felt bad because she seemed like a smart ,cool women with a problem.I really hope she doesn't mess up too bad tonight.Good luck to my blonde friend and I hope to see you again and that you don't make any regrettable decisions.I would love to talk to you under sober conditions as it is clear to me you are an intelligent ,beautiful women who has a lot to say.stay safe.Have fun.Be amazing.Never give up.

Walking far from home

Here we are in December .I have recently seen the bands Junip and sharon Van Etten.That was awesome and I met Sharon who is very cool.I also saw Stars.I have wanted to see them for a few years so that was fun.I went to see Billy Connolly on November 25.That was awesome.I have always wanted to see him and he didn't disappoint.He was on stage for 3 hours.
