Wasted Daylight

Well,well,well,
I was at a sports bar tonight to watch Canucks/Oilers.After the second period I had an attractive short haired blonde come up to me and wish me merry christmas and Happy new year.She then told me she was a recovering alcoholic and was testing her resolve tonight.Then she said this would probably be in a paper tomorrow because I looked like a reporter/intelligent man who likely worked in journalism(I think she may be a local celebrity but I didn't recognize her).I assured I did not.At some point she gave me a hug and told me to join her at her table if I was alone since the two men at her table her and her friend had only met a few minutes ago.Throughout the night I noticed her befriend every man in the bar and kiss the guys sitting beside me.This is the main reason I did not join her at her table.Whoever is left at the end of the night I am sure she will sleep with.I think her sobriety will take a beating tonight.I felt bad because she seemed like a smart ,cool women with a problem.I really hope she doesn't mess up too bad tonight.Good luck to my blonde friend and I hope to see you again and that you don't make any regrettable decisions.I would love to talk to you under sober conditions as it is clear to me you are an intelligent ,beautiful women who has a lot to say.stay safe.Have fun.Be amazing.Never give up.

Walking far from home

Here we are in December .I have recently seen the bands Junip and sharon Van Etten.That was awesome and I met Sharon who is very cool.I also saw Stars.I have wanted to see them for a few years so that was fun.I went to see Billy Connolly on November 25.That was awesome.I have always wanted to see him and he didn't disappoint.He was on stage for 3 hours.

Ok,today I saw "the Social Network".i did not realize that the Napster guy was involved.Interesting.I did enjoy it.Odd that almost nobody had desktop computers.it was all laptops.Even though alot of it is supposed to be 2004.Also interesting was that the girl who played his ex girlfriend is also going to be lisbeth Salander in the american "the girl with the dragon tattoo".I think she will need to be amazing to pull it off.We shall see.

Say no to love

Just hanging out on vancouver island.It has been almost two months since last check in.Just saw Salt.I liked it.Going to a comedy show featuring Jy Harris next month at the Vogue.Sept.17th.In vancouver.Bye.

A sunny day in Vancouver."The girl who played with fire" opens this weekend so I will try to see that.Watched "Let the right one in".Very cool film.Had a good vacation and toured around english bay on a very hot day.Also went to see Athlete and that was awesome.

Nothing Ever Happened

So April has been a pretty good month,so far.I saw Jonsi at the Vogue Theatre on April 6th and it was one of the best shows I ever saw.The stage show for sure.He did almost two hours which is pretty cool.On April 11th I saw Spoon with Deehunter and Micachu and the Shapes.All three bands were great.I forgot how many great songs Spoon has.They also did a cover of "Love Song" by the Damned.Well, here is volume 6:

Well,I am just getting ready for the Canada/U.S. gold Medal game.Listening to "These Hopeful Machines" by BT.Enjoying a coffee.Watched the first episode of 'Lost" from this season.I have missed a lot.Saw "An Education" last night.It was good.So Far i have seen two oscar nominated films and they have both been good but not great(The other being 'The Hurt Locker").Oh well.
